It was Foggy Saturday night. Two Women were trying to get home from a wedding reception, held at Cherry Creek State Park. They took a wrong turn, and ended up on the Boat Ramp. They assumed it was a normal road, and they hit the water doing about 30 MPH. One woman was able to make it out of the car, and back to shore. The other woman needed some help, so the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s department showed up , and brought her back to land, which was about 25 Yards away.
The driver was given a citation for Drunk Driving. The car was pulled from the water Sunday morning:
Sheriff deputies rescued 2 women from a submerged car after the driver accidentally drove down a boat ramp into the Cherry Creek reservoir on a foggy night.
