Kids from the 80s and kids from today can now have something in common. They can all be Toys ”R” Us kids once again.
The iconic toy brand that many of us grew up with is back again. This time Toys “R” Us has partnered with Macy’s to reopen locations across the country.
While the well-loved and missed toy chain may not have stand-alone stores yet, Macy’s has declared they will be open inside of all Macy’s stores nationwide as of today, Oct.15th.
So if you are looking to start your holiday shopping, there are nine locations already open in Colorado.
Here are the Macy’s locations with a Toys “R” Us shop:
– Aurora Town Center
– Chapel Hills
– Cherry Creek Mall
– Flat Iron Crossing
– Fort Collins Foothills Fashion
– Loveland Shops at Centerra
– Northfield
– Orchard Town Center
– Park Meadows
For those of you itching to start that holiday shopping before it’s officially holiday season, go check out one of these locations. A grand opening event from Oct. 15 to Oct. 23 will celebrate the birthday of Geoffrey the giraffe, the brand’s famous mascot.
The nine-day event will include activities for children, a scavenger hunt and special giveaways on various famous brands. Also get your photo with a life size photo opportunity with Geoffrey!
It was a sad day for all the Toys “R” Us kids when the chain went bankrupt in 2018, but for those looking to revisit their childhoods or introduce their kin to Geoffrey, our beloved Toys “R” Us looks to finally be back!
