Anyone who lives in Colorado knows how treacherous traveling along I-70 can be, especially through Glenwood Canyon. So, imagine a crash involving multiple semi-trucks on those narrow roads! That’s exactly what happened Tuesday, and it shut down westbound I-70 from Dotsero to the West Glenwood exit, a roughly 20-mile stretch of the interstate.
#CDOT #News: Westbound #I70 closed in #GlenwoodCanyon due to multiple vehicle crash. Motorists on northern alternate route must plan for weather and additional travel time until at least this evening.

Motorists were asked to get off on the Silverthorne exit, and that northern route is no joke! The detour forces you through Kremmling, then Craig. Lastly, it put you southbound on Highway 13 to Rifle. The accident happened around 8 am Tuesday, and the closure lasted until almost 7 pm.
