Deion Sanders has to say goodbye to his left foot.
Sanders already has two toes on his left foot amputated and a new discovery reveals he might have to let go of his left foot altogether. The two-time Super Bowl champ allowed a camera crew to document his medical meeting at a Colorado football facility.
“You just have to understand what the risks are,” vascular surgeon Donald Jacobs told Sanders. “Things can cascade.”
In the video, doctors tell Sanders the lack of blood flow has caused those artiest to officially shut down. Sanders is about to start his first season as the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes and would rather have the surgery “sooner than later.”
“I want to do it this summer, because when we get rolling, I’m not going to have time to do it,” Sanders told the doctors. “This is the best down time I have.”
As reported by NBC Sports “Another vascular surgeon, Max Wohlauer, told Sanders that the blood pressure measured in his lower leg had previously been the same as the blood pressure in his arm but is now only about two-thirds the blood pressure in his arm.”
Everybody has a story but your ending hadn’t been written. Write the way u want this thang to go and make it happen just that way. Why can’t u win now, why can’t u be happy now & why can’t u get what u want & need. You’re the only 1 that can answer your why. But i will be there…
