Thanks to a recent study by WiseVoter, Colorado ranks in the top three of the least obese states in the United States.
Credit it to the amazing outdoor life, the thriving health-conscious culture, or the weather. Colorado snags the No.3 spot on the list. Beating out Massachusetts that comes in at No.4 and right behind Hawaii at No.2, with No.1 belonging to the District of Columbia.
“It is interesting to note that all the top 10 least obese states are located on either coast of the United States, suggesting that lifestyle factors such as physical activity outdoors or access to fresh produce could play a role in keeping Americans healthier,” says the study.
