It’s a spooky good weekend in Denver, with plenty of Halloween-themed events and activities to enjoy. But don’t worry if you’re not into scares – there’s plenty else to do, too, from basketball games, watching the eclipse, and more.
Here are six things to do this weekend:
- 16th Street Denver Nuggets’ Championship Basketball Court (October 13-15): Shoot some hoops on the same court where the Denver Nuggets won their first championship in 2023. The court is located on 16th Street Mall between Stout and California streets.
- Catrinas En Mi Ciudad (October 14): This annual festival celebrates the Mexican tradition of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) with live music, dance, food, and art. The festival takes place at Civic Center Park from 11am to 6pm.
- Downtown Aquarium: Otter Weekend (October 14 – 15) Friday Family Nights: $2.99 Kids’ Meal with purchase of an adult entrée and $6 Exhibit Passes after 6pm on Friday!
- Eclipse Extravaganza! (October 14) Join us to observe and enjoy the Annular Solar Eclipse with maximum coverage at 10:36am. Enjoy hands-on crafts and activities to discover the wonders of the sky.
- Pumpkin Harvest Festival (October 14-15): Pick your own pumpkin at this family-friendly festival at Chatfield Farms. There will also be hayrides, a corn maze, and other activities. The festival is open from 10am to 5pm.
- Pumpkin Patch & Fall Festival (October 15): This festival at Rock Creek Farm has all the fall favorites: pumpkins, hayrides, a corn maze, and more. There will also be live music and food trucks. The festival is open from 10am to 5pm.
