Residents of Northern Colorado are baffled by the sudden appearance of a mysterious monolith, which surfaced without any prior warning. The monolith’s origins remain unknown, sparking curiosity and speculation throughout the Front Range and beyond.
A Reddit user shared their visit to the structure on the Fort Collins subreddit. According to the poster, locals suggested the monolith was erected as a prank aimed at someone living nearby, though this claim remains unverified.
This enigmatic monolith is not an isolated incident. Over the weekend of June 15-16, a similar mirrored structure was discovered north of the Las Vegas Valley. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department removed this structure on June 21. Despite the proximity in timing, no direct connections have been established between the monolith in Northern Colorado and the one near Las Vegas.
This occurrence is reminiscent of a series of monolith appearances in late 2020, which began with a random monolith in a rural part of Utah and quickly spread globally. However, it’s notable that the structure found near Bellvue is rectangular, differing from the triangular shape observed in both the Las Vegas monolith and many of the 2020 monoliths.
As the mystery continues, the appearance of these structures continues to capture the public’s imagination and curiosity.
