Denver Broncos Break Ground on New State-of-the-Art Headquarters and Practice Facility

The Denver Broncos are set to break ground on their new Broncos Park Powered by CommonSpirit facility Thursday morning. The cutting-edge complex, designed in a contemporary style that reflects the essence of Colorado, is aimed at enhancing player health and performance while creating a collaborative and modern environment for both football and business operations.

The new facility will span 205,000 square feet across three stories, representing a 30% increase in size compared to the current headquarters. The project, entirely privately funded, is estimated to cost around $175 million, with the Broncos aiming to complete construction by the 2026 season.

Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming facility, particularly noting the convenience of an underground parking lot that will spare him from scraping snow off his car windows during winter. “It’s going to be beautiful,” Payton said after Wednesday’s practice. “I think 2026 is the target date. When we’re sitting here doing this, it’s going to be there. This will all be gone. Greg [Penner], Carrie [Walton Penner], the planning — there’s been a lot that’s gone into it. And it’s just one more sign of their commitment to this organization and where we’re headed.”

A rendering of the new facility, provided by the team, showcases the impressive design that will soon house the Broncos’ operations. During the construction phase, temporary bleachers are expected to be used for fans at next summer’s training camp. Once completed, the new facility will offer a premier experience for players, coaches, and fans alike.
