A man was taken into custody after causing troubles in the Eisenhower tunnel.
The unidentified man was causing a disturbance on a Greyhound bus Sunday afternoon on I-70. After the bus had driven through the Eisenhower Tunnels, they kicked the man off at the parking lot on the west side. The man hung out in that parking lot for about an hour and a half, attempting to break into a CDOT emergency shelter. Around 5 PM, the man entered the Eisenhower tunnel, and procured a fire extinguisher, which he sprayed at traffic driving through the tunnel.
The tunnel was closed for about half an hour while Summit County Sheriffs Deputies took the man into custody. No injuries were reported from the fire extinguisher incident.
