There are roughly 650 Bars in Denver, and Roughly 650 of them will have the game on. Here’s a few of the best places to go to see Gabe and Cale and Nathan do their things.
1. Ball Arena
There’s nothing better than Live Hockey. Game 1 Tickets on the Ticketmaster Verified Resale site are as low as $675 at the time of this writing, and you may find some deals before the game if you shop around. But buyer beware… there will be people trying to scam.
2. The Tivoli Quad at Auraria
The Official NHL Avalanche Watch Parties are going on across the Street at the Tivoli for all the games, Home and Away. Parking is $20-$25, but the watch party is free. There will be tons of Swag to be had (Jerseys, Pucks, autographed Items), and Food and Drinks will be there as well. Limited to the Fisrt 20,000 people. Get more details from the NHL.
3. Your Couch
The Game is On ABC – Channel 7. It Starts at 6 Pm on Wednesday. Drinks are cheap, the food has an authentic homemade taste, and the staff is beautiful.
4. McGregor Square
If you want to avoid the Stadium, McGregor Square will have the games on their Big Screens for everyone to watch for free, and if you’re part of the VIP crowd (those with an extra $25) , there’s a 3rd Floor Mezzanine party for you.
5. Brooklyns
Brooklyns would Rank Higher, but it’s going to be packed. If you’re lucky enough to get a table, or a seat at the bar, this will be a great place to catch the game. And, if you’re trying to buy or sell an extra ticket, all the Scalpers are right outside.
