Great Sand Dunes National Park
You can sink your feet into the tallest dunes in North America. Nestled in a spot where the Sangre de Cristo Mountains buckle inward, the dunes within Great Sand Dunes National Park were built by the San Luis Valley’s unique wind patterns. Sands of epic proportions cover 30 square miles, and the tallest dune towers 750 feet high. The kid in every visitor loves to slide down the soft sand year-round and dive into the soft-sand tracks of those who have gone before them.
Hanging Lake
In Glenwood Canyon in the White River National Forest, Hanging Lake is a rare example of a travertine geological formation. The trail is steep, rigorous, and rocky but incredibly rewarding. This Natural National Landmark features awe-inspiring scenery and gentle waterfalls! The Hanging Lake trail is a backcountry hike. The trail is steep and rocky.

Historic concert venue, park and amphitheater in a spectacular setting, Red Rocks is Colorado’s iconic entertainment venue. It’s a must you check out some sort of show this summer.
