The Rockies sure won’t be using Coors Field this October, so it is going to get turned into a Golf Course. Upper Deck Golf will allow golfers to travel up to the third deck, and whack balls onto the field. It’s happening one weekend only, October 21st to 23rd. There are putting challenges, chipping challenges, a virtual driving challenge, and plenty more games to compete in. There’s also a bar.
Unfortunately, you can’t use all your clubs inside the stadium. Left Field is 347 Feet. An “average” golfer can drive the ball over 200 yards, so they will only allow you to bring up to an 8 Iron. They don’t need golf balls bouncing out onto Blake. Tee Times can get booked starting on September 14th, but you will want to sign up for early access to get the time you want. Tickets start at $85, which gets you a round of golf, 18 Balls, and special stadium and bar access. For a bit more cash, you can get the VIP Treatment, which includes extra balls (Upper Deck’s version of a Mulligan), free access to Chipping, Driving and Putting Challenges, and a complimentary bar and food.
