Popular Coffee Chain Expanding with Three New Colorado Locations
Colorado is home to a variety of beloved chains, and a new coffee player is making waves by expanding its presence in the state.
While some chains, like the Mediterranean sensation Cava, are rapidly growing across Colorado, others, particularly in the coffee industry, have faced challenges. For instance, the popular Colorado-based coffee chain Ink! Coffee filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in June, though its locations remain open for now.
However, there’s good news on the horizon for coffee lovers. Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii, a rising star in Colorado’s coffee scene, is set to open three new locations, adding to its growing footprint along the Front Range.
Currently, Bad Ass Coffee has three stores in Colorado—one in Denver and two in the Colorado Springs area. The chain, with corporate offices located in Centennial, is now looking to expand further with three additional stores.
The first new location is set to open in Denver at 1735 Chestnut Place, with an anticipated opening in early autumn. Excitingly, the other two locations will mark the brand’s debut in Northern Colorado, though specific sites for these spots have yet to be announced. These locations are expected to open by 2025.
What is Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii?
Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii has been gaining significant attention and praise for its menu and drink selection. The brand was founded in 1989 on the Big Island of Hawaii, serving the world-renowned coffee of the islands. In 1995, the chain expanded to the mainland, starting with Salt Lake City, Utah.
Since then, Bad Ass Coffee has gradually grown, now boasting 32 stores across the country. With its upcoming expansion in Colorado, the chain continues to build on its reputation and reach more coffee enthusiasts in the state.
