Photos captured by a Colorado Parks and Wildlife officer show the damage a curious bear did from breaking into eight vehicles overnight. The bear was searching for food as it went from car to car.
According to the officer, all of the cars along the Fall River Road corridor were unlocked, and he reminds locals to lock their windows and doors when visiting the area.
In @TownofEstesPark, Wildlife Officer Rylands observed 8 vehicles overnight that a bear got into. ALL 8 vehicles were UNLOCKED.
While not all of the vehicles had food or attractants, some bears go from car to car just to see if they’re unlocked, then hope to find food. pic.twitter.com/DzDnmPMQ1o
