Venezuelan Gang Allegedly Takes Over Apartment Complex in Colorado
A frightening situation is unfolding in Colorado, where residents are reporting that members of a notorious Venezuelan gang have seized control of entire apartment complexes. Disturbing footage has surfaced, showing heavily armed men patrolling the hallways of a complex in Aurora.
The video, which has quickly gone viral, captures six men moving through the building, climbing stairs, and forcefully knocking on a unit’s door. Five of the men are visibly armed, with one openly carrying what appears to be an assault rifle, complete with a large scope. The other four are wielding handguns.
There have been numerous reports recently linking the Venezuelan gang, Tren de Aragua, to criminal activities in Denver and, more recently, in Aurora, once known as a peaceful suburb. Aurora City Council member Dani Jurinsky has claimed that the gang has taken over several apartment complexes in the area.
The video has caught the attention of the Denver Police Department, which issued a statement on Wednesday acknowledging the seriousness of the situation. While the police confirmed the gang’s involvement in local crimes, they clarified that they are not aware of any apartment buildings in Denver being “taken over” by the gang. However, the video is specific to Aurora.
