Aurora police need your help with their investigation of a heartbreaking theft that targeted a local Boy Scout troop.
Earlier this month, on January 6th at approximately 10:30 PM, a 2016 white H7H 10-foot trailer containing nearly $15,000 worth of Boy Scouts of America equipment and camping gear was stolen from the Easter Hills Community Church parking lot on E. Smoky Hill Rd.
According to police reports, the suspect vehicle was a white van, possibly a Ford Econoline/E250/E350 model from the 2000s.
The van reportedly had a flashing light attached to the roof towards the front. Investigators believe the suspect deliberately targeted the church parking lot, highlighting the brazen nature of the crime.
