The internet is a glorious place at times. Giving us exactly what we didn’t know we needed. Like a live-action 1980s version of ‘Family Guy’ that was made using the image synthesizer Midjourney.
The artist wishes to remain anonymous, but the video was posted to the Lyrical Realms YouTube channel recently, where it quickly climbed to 4 million views. The characters of Peter, Lois, Chris, Meg, Stewie, and Brian bear an uncanny resemblance.
“Photoshop was used only for two different purposes: to remove artifacts and to separate the intro into layers and give a 3D effect,” the content creator told PetaPixel. “Once the first character was generated (Peter) the rest were a bit easier. The most difficult to generate were Cleveland and Quagmire.”
The artist estimated it took him about 5 full days of work to complete the project. You can see some of their other work on their YouTube channel.
