Hey Academy Awards, WWE would like its Smackdown back!
Was Will Smith’s slap attack on Chris Rock just a couple of really good actors, (one now an academy-winning actor) pulling a genius public stunt, or was it just a silly act of love? The Oscars slap last night seems to be gaining a new side of the story and whatever you want to believe will be a debate for years.

ACT I – Sunday
The Academy decides to pull the trigger on the Slap Gate and begin to sets the stage for the Will and Chris confrontation. Will and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith have been open about her skin condition on social for a while now, and the audience knew this, and Chris for sure knew of her condition. So when Chris decided to pull the low blow joke and Will decided to go pimp slap-happy, the audience and quite frankly the world went nuts. Twitter in a matter of seconds exploded and of course no more than 15 minutes later, right after everyone tuned in to see the commotion, the Freshest Prince, Will Smith won the award for best actor and then gives a hell of a speech.
[presto_player id=7553]ACT II – Monday
News stations across the country and let’s be honest, the whole freaking world was reporting the Hollywood bout between these two master actors. The press and all of society are on fire, and I’m not surprised if it stays ablaze for a week or so. Because now we have to find out what the Acadamy is going to do about the assault if anything. Chris declined to press charges of course and Will has publicly apologized to the Acadamy and the fans, so that should be the end of it, right? Nope, guys like me and other publications will suck every bit of this viral gold mine dry.
