Denver has a rich history with beer. Denver plays home to some mighty impressive breweries that have popped up over time—including Coors itself! And with so many great breweries in Denver, it is difficult to decide which ones are worth visiting.
1. Cervecía Colorado
Denver Beer Company’s Cervecía Colorado taps are full of delicious, Mexican-inspired brews. The company strives to create a welcoming taproom where people can enjoy Denver-made beers in all shapes and flavors while using Mexican-inspired ingredients such as mole, chilies, and lime to create unique brews.
2. Great Divide Brewing Co.
Great Divide has been a Colorado success story since opening its doors in 1994. With four locations now, this iconic craft brewery is still going strong with 18 awards from the Great American Beer Festival. In addition, you can find their signature brews at their taproom and barrel bar locations!
3. TRVE
TRVE is not your average brewery. These guys pride themselves on making crazy, unique beers, as well as making some real-fine fried chicken. Their specialty brews will blow you away with both flavor complexity in each sip as well as how they’re able to balance out different flavors. We recommend giving TRVE brews like “Sun Eater,” ‘Bloodaxe’ or even their signature sour ales a try.
