Empower Field at Mile High will be busy this offseason, even without any players on the field. The home of the Denver Broncos is getting an upgrade to the tune of $100 million. The improvements will focus on hospitality, technology, the team store, and concessions.
The concessions area and team store will see expansions, with the team store gaining an extra 3,000 square feet. They’ll also upgrade the scoreboard making it 70% bigger, and the 4th biggest in the league. It’s the largest capital improvement ever made to the home of the Broncos, which has been around for 22 years.
The improvements cost about twice Russell Wilson's salary and will go toward four major parts of the stadium: technology, hospitality, concessions and the team store. https://t.co/kasistlulB

The revenue comes from a variety of sources. Off the top, $12 million comes from the Metropolitan Football Stadium District. The rest of the funds come from the Broncos organization and money from the league’s G-4 financing program.
Officials with the team say they’ll have the improvements completed before the start of the 2023 season.
