Arapahoe Basin and Keystone Resort are kicking off Colorado’s ski season this Saturday, Nov. 2, with partial openings for daily operations. Arapahoe Basin will offer skiing and riding on its intermediate High Noon run, accessible by the Black Mountain Express, and promises to expand to more terrain, including Lenawee Face and Dercum Dash, as snowmaking continues.
A-Basin’s opening day will feature giveaways, donuts for early arrivals, and a DJ to get the energy up, with lifts running daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Keystone Resort will open two miles of terrain on Schoolmarm and Silver Spoon, with access via the River Run Gondola and Montezuma Express lift, and beginners will find dedicated learning areas at the top of the gondola. The resort will also host a DJ and offer free coffee and donuts for early visitors.
Keystone will introduce night skiing on select weekends and holidays starting Thanksgiving, while the Mountain House base is expected to open in mid-November, weather permitting.
