For a $20 donation, families can book a time slot to read to adoptable dogs and cats. The event begins with 15 minutes of holiday card-making, where participants craft personalized messages to brighten the animals’ kennels. Reading sessions are offered in two evening time slots—4:30-5:30 p.m. and 5:30-6:30 p.m.—to accommodate busy schedules.
