Viral Saxophone-Playing Sasquatch is Bringing His Wild Show to Colorado
A seven-foot-tall, saxophone-playing Sasquatch is making his way to Colorado this April, bringing an unforgettable mix of electronic beats, live sax, and a dazzling laser show. Known as Saxsquatch, this anonymous multi-instrumentalist and producer skyrocketed to internet fame with viral videos that have racked up hundreds of millions of views. His unique sound has led to collaborations with artists like Billy Ray Cyrus, John Oates, and WAR, as well as music features in Rocket League and Fortnite.
Saxsquatch’s journey started at a young age when he became obsessed with the saxophone after hearing it on the radio. He picked up his first instrument from a pawn shop as a “baby squatch” around age seven and spent years refining his craft. Despite his talent, he didn’t share his music publicly until about six years ago, but when he did, his quirky blend of jazz, electronic, and nostalgia-driven covers quickly took off. One of his most memorable viral moments was looping Daft Punk’s One More Time by a crackling fire, capturing the internet’s imagination.
His upcoming Colorado tour will take him to Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver on April 17, Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins on April 16, and The Black Sheep in Colorado Springs on April 18. Due to overwhelming demand, his Denver show was moved from The Other Side to the larger main venue at Cervantes.
Known for his immersive performances, Saxsquatch describes his shows as an experience where “anyone can be what they believe in.” Expect high-energy electronic beats, soulful sax solos, and a larger-than-life presence—literally. Whether you’re a fan of EDM, jazz, or just enjoy the unexpected, this is one show you won’t want to miss.
