Colorado Man Robs 7-Eleven with ‘Finger Gun,’ Flees in Pink SUV
In a bizarre robbery straight out of a low-budget heist movie, 35-year-old Antonio Taylor was arrested after allegedly using a “finger gun” to rob a 7-Eleven gas station in Colorado Springs. The incident happened at the store located near Newport Road and Aeroplaza, where Taylor reportedly threatened the clerk with physical violence while pretending to wield a weapon. Before leaving, he even grabbed a fountain drink and fled the scene in a hard-to-miss pink GMC Yukon.
Police attempted to stop the bright SUV but were initially unsuccessful. A few hours later, the vehicle was spotted at a Maverik gas station, where officers discovered Taylor’s teenage daughter riding in the passenger seat. Authorities prioritized her safety, safely removing her from the vehicle before taking Taylor into custody.
Taylor was booked into the El Paso County Jail and faces multiple charges, including robbery. While no real firearm was involved, the incident still left the store clerk shaken and highlighted the unpredictable and often reckless behavior some criminals resort to.
