As of June 3, it had rained more than 11.6 inches from the start of this year, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. That’s more than double what Denver usually gets by early May, and there’s more rain in the forecast.
It hasn’t rained this much since the 1940s.
This is the wettest start to a year, since the early to mid 1940’s for Denver, as officially 7.60″ of rain has fallen since January 1st. #cowx pic.twitter.com/WCVhPT9Qis
