More details emerge of the Colorado Springs mother who allegedly killed two of her three children.
According to a press release by Kevin Wentz, Kimberlee Singler’s ex-husband, the two have been in a custody and divorce battle in Larimer County since September 2018.
Singler is the prime suspect in the murder of her two youngest children and seriously injuring her 11-year-old daughter on December 19.
Singler has been found and arrested in the U.K. on December 30.
According to KRDO, Wentz released the following statement through an attorney:
“Earlier this afternoon, Colorado Springs Police notified Kevin Wentz that Kimberlee Singler had been apprehended in the United Kingdom. He was relieved that the search has ended.
Mr. Wentz is thankful to all of the law enforcement here in the United States and the United Kingdom that were involved in the homicide investigation and Kimberlee’s subsequent arrest.
It is his hope that Kimberlee will be extradited to Colorado soon.
Kevin Wentz continues to hope for justice for his children Aden and Ellie. He prays for peace and healing for his surviving daughter.
We ask that the community and press give the Wentz family the privacy that they need to mourn and heal.
Jennifer Darby, Attorney for Kevin Wentz”
