Deputies in Arapahoe County got more than they bargained for over the weekend, as they were sent on a high speed chase…..of a runaway steer.
“Though the animal eluded law enforcement for several minutes as it pranced around the street and checked out the playground, the deputies-turned-cowboys eventually got it into custody — no bulldogging necessary!” says KKTV.
The Sheriff’s Office was in good spirits after (Eventually) nabbing the cow and taking it back home. They posted to following on their Facebook page:
“The steaks were high and we didn’t want to butcher this slow-speed chase but this cow was moooooving! They finally got it confined to a small park and it was back in its trailer in no time. Holy cow! You all did an udderly good job. Now let’s milk this for all it’s worth… #cowincustody #pasturebedtime Parker Police Department” on its Facebook page
